  • Spring 2011

    Greeting Sorors, Philos and Rhoers!

I trust you've had a productive fall and have been "On Fire to Serve!”  I've had the pleasure over the past months of speaking with many of you through conference calls, emails and letters.  You've been working hard towards our goals of Recruitment and Retention with "Campaign 1922" and providing service civically, economically and socially to those in our communities.

As we move forward into the spring ~ don’t forget our major national initiatives the "Annual Youth Symposium" and the "March of Dimes" campaign.  You can view a video on the youth symposium on our website front page and information for the "1922:  Each chapter Contributes"  MOD campaign will be reviewed at the conference.  Won't you commit to these signature projects along with all the other wonderful national initiatives thru Project Reassurance?  As we move into our final gear for this quarter let's remember those who are no longer with us and pray for those who remain.

With excitement I invite you to attend our 71st Central Region Conference in Cincinnati OH ~ March 17 - 20, 2011 as we celebrate within our conference theme:  "On Fire to Serve: thru Enthusiasm, Empowerment and Engagement".  We look forward to seeing you at the conference and wish you and your teams well throughout the rest of the sorority year...

    Blessings,

    Syntaktes K

    Fall 2010

Greetings Sorors, Philo's and Rhoers of the Central Region,

Thank you so much for your patience as we make changes and updates to our site.  We were and remain "On Fire to Serve"!

Sorors can now download the 2010-2011 regional assessment paperwork for the 2010-2011 sorority years. Registered users to the site can find assessment forms in the "Folders" located in the gray menu bar at the top of the screen, or follow this link: https://sgrhocentral.celect.org/site/folders/17879 . Members must use the most current forms when paying dues or risk a delay in paperwork processing.

We look forward to building collaborative relationships with Sorors, our beloved affiliates and future partners to the Central Region of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc.

I leave you with this brief message:  "The key to becoming an effective leader is not to focus on making others follow, but on making yourself the kind of person they want to follow."

Let's be enthusiastic about our Sorority and the Central Region and her rich history.

Let's be empowered to encourage others to grow within her.

Let's be engaged in further developing our relationships with each Soror, our affiliates and the communities we serve.

    Many blessings,

    Soror Pamela Kadirifu
