The Eightieth Central Regional Conference
SIGMA GAMMA RHO SORORITY, INC.
March 11-15, 2020 | Louisville, Kentucky
Greetings Central Region Sorors and Affiliates,
I personally invite you to join the Regional Board of Directors, Chairs and Area Coordinators to Louisville, KY at the Louisville Marriott Downtown from March 11-15, 2020. Our 80th Central Region Conference Theme will ring - "Pushing the Boundaries".
This theme really stumped me this year. I sat for over a month attempting to think about what the Region has accomplished as a team and what I want most for the next level of leadership. I have not had a perfect score on my stint at trying to serve in this role, but I walk this last year full of pride in what we have been able to do thus far. We have pushed the limits, living in a constant state of Innovative thinking, attempting to Influence the minds/lives of the membership through servant leadership, while recognizing the Impact each action will bring.
This theme reflects our mantra of challenging ourselves to think outside the box in order to achieve the best possible outcomes. Our organization is filled with the traditions of our Founders but we MUST continue to push the envelope to bring the sisterhood along. We are no longer a region that can function against the bylaws and SOPs of the 50-60s. In the spirit of the Sisterhood, I continue to ask you all to challenge me, our way of working, our meetings, programs, and our future opportunities.
I'm looking forward to seeing you all through this Area Meeting season. There is a lot going on and a lot for us to still accomplish this year! #CentralLeadsTheWay
