Dr. Cynthia L. Thompson, is a 10th degree black belt in Shore Goju Ryu and Shorin Ryu martial arts systems and an 8th Degree in Taekwondo. I am the founder of the Shodo Ryu system, a WKA-USA Karate World Champion (Spain) and WKC-USA World Champion (Scotland) former Miss Black Illinois 1988, Miss Windy City 1989, Miss Hemisphere 1990, Miss Glamour Girl USA 1990Miss Chicago State University 1995, and 1st runner up Miss Collegiate African American 1995.
