Central Cares

Central Cares is a volunteer-led crisis warmline created to uplift and support undergraduate Sorors within the Central Region who may be experiencing mental health challenges.

Operated by Sorors who are also trained mental health professionals, Central Cares provides a safe, confidential space for members to find comfort, resources, and compassionate listening in times of need.

Through Central Cares, we aim to:

  • ​Provide immediate emotional support to undergraduate members in need

  • Connect Sorors to trusted campus, local, and national resources

  • Reduce stigma surrounding mental health and encourage seeking support

  • Strengthen the bond of sisterhood across the region

We are proud to partner with NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) to provide specialized training for our Soror volunteers.
